Mr. A. Boshaw

Greetings,

For those of you whose students did not attend Calvary last year, my name is Alex Boshaw and I will again be the 9th grade English teacher.  We also offer an Honors English class at the 9th grade level.

Additionally, I am athletic director for both the junior and senior high and I set up the PE programs for those age groups as well.  This will be my 7th year of teaching here at Calvary.  It is a blessing and a privilege to be returning for another year.  Prior to coming to CCS, I worked for four years in guest services at the Four Seasons Resort Aviara.  I had previously received my degree in education, and it was truly the Lord’s timing bringing me to Calvary when He did.

In addition to the academics, we will focus on responsibility and good time management during this upcoming year.  As this will be the students’ first year of high school, it will be important to develop strong self-management skills.  Any student that comes into this class with a good attitude and works hard will have no trouble at all. It is my hope and my prayer that those skills that your child will learn from this class will benefit them for years to come.

As well as teaching and running the sports department, I am also a proud father of three: Timothy, Tobin and Annamarie, and God has also blessed me with a very supportive wife, Robin.  Nothing brings me greater joy than playing with my kids and hanging out with my wife.

To those students who were in my PE class last year, I look forward to seeing you all again.  I hope you had an awesome summer.  To all of you new students and parents, it will be my pleasure to be your teacher this year and I look forward to meeting all of you.

May God richly bless you!

In Christ, Alex Boshaw
