Mrs. Peterson     Fourth Grade Teacher

It is a blessing and joy to have the opportunity to teach at Calvary Christian School. With the help of my aide Mrs. Stevens, we both look forward to getting to know your children as we work together in furthering your childs education.

It has been a privilege to teach fourth grade for the past eight years. I was able to home school my three children and run a full time daycare for 11 years before teaching at Calvary. In the 2000-2002 school year, I oversaw Calvary Chapels High School ISP program. I have run and assisted in many Sunday school ministries. My reasonabilityʼs included helping to set up childrens church, training teachers in the use of curriculum, training and organizing workstations,  and writing the childrenʼs curriculum for Calvary Vista's home fellowships. It is wonderful to see how the Lord has used my experience in many different areas to equip me for my present position.

I am so excited each year to see what the Lord has in store. I am eager to see Him work in the students as well as myself. My desire is to see each child have a passion to learn. That every fourth grader would come to class ready to experience something new and would grow in the things that pertain to every day life.... reading, writing, and arithmetic. I hope to see each child do their work as unto the Lord! My prayer is to see them grow in the wisdom and understanding of our Lord Jesus Christ, that there would be a hunger and thirst to do what is right in every aspect of their lives. I pray there would be like-mindedness between each child as they work together in class as well as on the playground.

There is nothing more rewarding then when you see a child grasp the concept you are trying to teach, be it spiritually or academically.
