Mrs. Baker Third Grade Teacher
I must say it is a blessing to be able to work and be part of the team here at Calvary Christian School. I work alongside such a gifted and committed faculty whose lives reflect the love of their Savior. Teaching third grade for 10 years has been a wonderful experience for me. I have met and taught many incredible students, with diverse gifts and talents. I am aware that every student that passes through my door has been fearfully and wonderfully made, and created for good works by their Heavenly Father (Psalm 139:14, Ephesians 2:10). It is an honor and privilege to partner with you parents in instructing your children.
Our class verse is Col. 3:23, "Whatever you do, do it heartily as to the Lord." In third grade it is our hope that each student would grow academically, spiritually, physically and socially and therefore we place a strong emphasis on teaching Bible along with all of our other core academic subjects. I am excited that we are able to bring many outside classroom learning experiences to correlate with and enrich our history and science curriculum.
I am a California native and have resided in Vista with my husband for the past 23 years. We have three wonderful children, each of whom have attended CCS. I have had the pleasure of being a member of the fellowship here at Calvary Chapel Vista for 23 years and recognize it as a great blessing to be able to work where I fellowship. I also have previously served as the Booster Club vice president. Go Lions!
